  120. you look at your mail each day or it can become quickly over-run. Some
  121. popular mailing lists generate hundreds of email messages weekly. Make
  122. sure you read how to "un-join" or cancel yourself from a mailing list.

  165. except in an online "interactive" learning environment. It's exam time...

  190. Have you ever wanted to know exactly how far it is from one place to
  191. another - such as the distance between Boston and San Fransico or you
  192. might want to know the distance between Chicago and New Orleans. To find
  193. out the distances between any two cities located in the US simply enter
  194. (when prompted) the two city names and then click "Submit". The server
  195. will begin to calculate the distances and then - presto - you will be told
  196. exactly how far away the two cities are from each other. Pretty neat!
  197. This site is provided by the Univ of Michigan and Xeroc PARC Interactive
  198. Map Viewer service. This is a useful (and way cool) service that anybody
  199. can access and use with ease. Highly recommended to travelers and K-12.

  202. All of these sites have lots to offer besides the obvious academic
  203. information that is included in these gopher sites. Information on
  204. regional, musical, historical, geography of the area and places to
  205. go are also included here. All of these gopher sites offer lots to
  206. see and do even if you don't plan on going to any one of these
  207. Universities. Everything from local pictures to computer help information
  208. to all sorts of other things including research help and research files.
  209. If you do plan on going - then there are course lists, images of the colleges
  210. and lots more that specifically deals with campus life and college offerings.
  211. Each site is highly recommended for gopher tunnelers everywhere. Every one
  212. of these college gopher sites is definitely worth the trip. Check these
  213. sites out! You'll be browsing for hours... ** Highly recommended ** Period.
